Why do we need electrolytes in our system?
Our body needs electrolyte to ensure proper cellular functioning. Electrolytes regulates water levels and they play a vital role in muscle, nerve and brain function. If there are too much or less electrolyte levels in our system, it will swell or shrink our brain cells which effects our thinking.
Our body needs water, and electrolytes directs the water to the parts of the body where it needs it.
Drinking too much water can flush electrolytes out of the body, which then imbalances it.
